I'd totally drive it.

My gut would have to catch a later flight.

It's all nice and economical and such, and a CHEAP price tag to boot. But wait until some soccer mom is running late for pilates class and tags you with her 3 ton SUV.

I might, if it could easily hit 80 MPH on the freeway between here and Denver. I have no use for a car that isn't equally at home city and highway.

Reliability wise, you're probably better off spending $2500 on a used '95 Honda Civic.

So long as it can hit highway speed, and allows me to fit, I'm down.

That's half of what my crappy truck cost.

I'd buy one, but I'm not a fan of the "look at me and how green I am" design.

*edit* also not a fan of 30hp.

+1. I think Consumer Reports reached similar conclusions on the Yugo and the Ford Escort.

I would consider owning an inexpensive high mileage "city car" if it was not my only car. I want something that is narrow enough to put on a plow, to do my sidewalks in the winter before driving to work.

The nano looks a lot like a smart car...but the smart car is much more expensive..

also, the photoshopped luxury cars are cute and I'd buy the lamborghini if I never had to take it outside a private track..

I'd be afraid of getting laughed at...

They would have to make the highway on ramps longer. My Suburban doesn't stop real fast! You might be a hood ornament. Other than than that, if you can spool up to interstate speeds, the only down side would be maneuverability & the ability to get out of trouble, quick-like. My 1,200cc bike does that for me...
