It seems that a New Mexico court has denied a man the ability to legally change his name to "**** Censorship!"...
The mans current legal name is Variable which he changed to from his previous name, Snaphappy Fishsuit Mokiligon.
What are your thoughts on this? I personally don't know what to think. It's a sure-fire way to get your 15 minutes of fame, but giving yourself a name like that would surely have negative consequences.

He can call himself any stupid name he likes, but allowing him to use the word **** openly around everyone's 11-year old daughters is not appropriate. And if he were able to change his name to ****, that would be his defense to any charge of disorderly conduct, public nuisance or disturbing the peace. That's what this nonsense is all about, anyway, trying to find a backdoor way to scream **** in public.

But I thought religion and State were supposed to be separate? And its only religion that dictates that "Fornication Under Consent of the King" is Bad. I may be wrong in my assumption, I have never seen proof of this words origin.
I think that people need to lighten up about what words they use.
I think the following is more offensive.
"Where you come from?"

"Where you come from?" | Religion and state are suppose to be sepperate... thats why the texas legislature added "under god" too the texas pledge which kids must stand up and say everyday during school...

The origin, as best anyone can tell at this point, is that it means now what it did at the dawn of spoken language among proto-Europeans. Some variation of the F word has been in existence, meaning what it does today, for as long as there have been people NW of the "Fertile Crescent".
All of those acronyms, like "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" etc. were hoaxes perpetrated by religious schoolteachers. |
