What drives me NUTZ is all the pop bands that use that ANNOYING voice flanger effect like Cher used in "Do you believe in love" back in the 80's. What the HELL?? Every band MUST use that these days?? Even the friggin rappers use it

If my memory serves me right, rappers were using it first to make their voices into that weird digitized sound. Cher withstanding.

That could be. I just remember Cher being the first to annoy me with the effect. My wife keeps a really lame pop station on for our birds. It seems like every song they play uses that. It probably drives our bird crazy just like it does me
