a cheetah just ran 100 meters in 6.16 seconds...how fast can usain bolt run it?.....man versus animal there is vid of the cheetah running but I am having trouble linking it....what would be the comparison? 100 meters Usain vs. Cheetah

Cheetah wins by more than 3 seconds. i.e. Bolt could have a 20m head start and still lose.

handy to know, were i 50 meters or so from saftey, and a cheetah 50 from me, i should get there without getting eaten.

It wouldn't matter, though, if you were standing next to an obese person who couldn't run at all. You could walk away from the cheetah at a leisurely pace and the fat guy would get eaten instead of you.

A 3 second difference at this distance is astronomical. It really is even at a 400m distance!
