I had no idea that this sandwich had such a cult following, or that there are McRib tracker sites. There's gotta be a way to hash-tag McRib sightings on Twitter; seems like that'd be an efficient way to do that. Is that a service that could earn me some cash? Hehe... I sure could use it...

All kidding aside, I am rather intrigued by the injection moulding process. I wonder if it's like those tofu "Tofurkey" or "Tofu Dog" products. Now my mind is going a mile a minute trying to think of all the crazy things I could shape food into. Any suggestions?

I, in all truth, have not eaten an item off the McDonald's menu since Easter 2004. After my stepmom's awful meal, we ran to get something to eat quick. I had Chicken McNuggets (remember when they became all white meat and they were advertising it as this amazing thing?) and Fries. The aftertaste was my last straw with their food. Needless to say, it was a bad day for dining.

Only time I had anything from McDonald's since was a sweet tea in summer 2010.

Does anyone not eat it just because it tastes awful? Because it really does to me. It didnt really take too much for me to sever ties with McDonalds. Btw the thought of a "McRib" is stomach turning. Did I mention it tastes awful?

Last one I had was about 3 years ago. If I get junk food it'll either be from a chip shop or kebab shop. Maybe once every couple of months the missus and I will get a Dominos or Pizza Hut and if I have an urge for junky burgers it'll be Burger King (a rarity in itself).

Edit - that's a lie, the last McDonalds was about 3-4 months ago, but the last prior to that was certainly about 3 years back. Was up working in another city and a group of us were going for breakfast, because some people didn't want to stop by a small cafe we ended up in McDonalds, had a bacon roll. It's rare to have a disappointing bacon roll
