12 hour notice

A bit less than a year ago, we hit Disneyland. The last night there- after EVERYONE else had seen/ridden/eaten everything that they'd wanted to- our youngest(Sophia, 4 at the time)remarked that she *didn't get to see Mickey Mouse* which was the entirety of her DL to-do list. WE'RE BAD PARENTS!
Tomorrow morning we begin our assault w/a 6/7 hour drive- we have dinner w/MM scheduled, in order to completely assuage our deeply guilty consciences. As always, Maki's in charge while I'm out.

Yeah, but it doesn't go over the Snow White outfit I wear 24/7 so well.

Hey, I live right by the Disenchanted Kingdom. Bring me something that you can only get in Norcal...clam chowder in a sourdough bowl? A Golden Gate snow globe? Smugness in a convenient 6oz bottle? Never mind!

Have a good time bro!

You could have been a cruel parent and traumatized her for life by telling her she couldn't see Mickey because he's burried in the back yard.

like dead and all, and besides being burried, he may even be buried which sucks even more.
Show her a white glove and says thats all you could get before he was burried.

That is totally cruel. They could just tell her they called Mickey, and he said he wasn't interested in seeing her. That way, she could believe there was still the possibilty of stalking him in her later years.

Gosh, guys- DL was great but I'm wiping away tears right now. You care, you really care.

So a slightly more detailed recap: Smooth-like-a-baby's-butt 300+mile drive down, got there early enough to hit quite a few rides, did EVERYTHING on everyone's must-see/do/eat list(mostly on the first night there). Was never tempted to stab an entire tour group of elderly or other demographic, although I did openly curse a gang of either Spanish or Italian high school girls when a good 2 dozen of them cut the line to Big Thunder Mountain, w/the blessing of their *adult* chaperones. Puta's...
The highlight for me was when Crush(the turtle from finding Nemo)*talked* to my middle daughter during a little show- she got a huge kick out of it. The kids' favorite ride was probably the water slide at the hotel pool...

Their incredible rudeness overpowered my ethnic discernment. Sorry, not saying one is somehow better than the other, just that they were quite content to cut in front of several dozen others because they could.
