No S*%$, I have a thermometer on a piece of 1 x 8 board in direct sunshine and it reads 130 degrees F.

Geeze, I guess I really do love the stuff. This is a 10 gallon all grain batch of Hefeweitzen.. Bavarian wheat beer. I brewed an American Wheat with 8lbs of fresh peaches in it a couple of weeks ago. I'll be serving them with the LA Lagers at The Emerald Coast Beer Festival the weekend after labor day (9/10) If you're on the gulf coast you should check it out, and come have one of my beers!!! Prosit!!!

That's fantastic!

I used to brew in my grad school days. Made several outstanding brews back in the day.

Can't think of a better reason to be outside on a hot day.

Just south of Birmingham, Alabama ( about 200 miles north of me) is Chilton County. They grow some of the best peaches you ever ate. That's what's in my Peach Wheat beer. If you want some let me know.. I think I could package them up so that you'd get them in fairly good shape for brewing or eating.

And as best as I can tell, the air temperature is about 106F. There's some radiant heating going on with that digital remote on the piece of wood. Whew!!!
