15 Before 15: 2011.

The 2009 version: 15 Places Every Kid Should See.

How many have you been too? For 2011, I have seen them all. For 2009, I have seen them all except the Civil Rights Museum.

I've seen 4 of the 2011 15. Same for the 2009 group. Jeez, that's a pretty lofty goal for 15! I think I travel more than the average American, and I'm three times that age.

5. Not bad for someone who has only been to the US on holidays. That said there are far more historically significant places dotted around the world than any on that list.

Probably true Mark, but the article is geared to travel in the USA.

But hey, make your list of top 15 places someone should see. I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with.

I've been to one!

There are a lot of "human history" type places on that list. My list would be almost completely inhabited by National Parks!

I've been to Zero on both of those lists, but have been to a lot of historical places in the U.S. and I'll never ever ever ever (one more time for emphasis ) go to Disney...

i've been to 6 and i have 2 of the others on my high priority visit list.

been:
D.C
Grand canyon
Disney
Ellis Island
San Diego Zoo
Redwoods

high priority to visit:
Yellowstone
craters of the moon

I was in D.C for several months and i can't believe i missed williamsburg. I tried to make it to Monticello but couldn't get the ride or time. I'd like to see both of those, but they aren't a huge deal for me.

13 of 15 for 2011. My 14 year old son has seen 8 of 15.

For 2009, I've got 12 of 15, he's got 8 again.

I've been to Redwood, but my experience did NOT match that pictures

I've been to most of them except for Yellowstone and Niagara Falls. Oh, and Monticello. I want to see that so badly.
