I read the books a few years ago. I want to see the movie. I can't find it for rent anywhere here.
I looked on Ebay and they are pretty expensive. I'm not sure I want to spend 35$ on a movie i don't know I will like.
Any idea how I could watch it legally for a fair price?

Also, if you like it, you might like the movie Brazil which is pretty messed up. It's like if 1984 had been made by Monty Python. |

That was pretty intense. It was less complete than the book (I read that when I was about 13), but then a movie would have to be pretty long to encompass that one somewhat entirely. |

bigtiny | No, what they send you is 'Here, offer your friend a free netflix trial...'
You can even pay in advance for a few months and give netflix to someone as a gift...

I looked into it because a mate had said that there's a kind of sequence with "12 Monkeys", "The Fifth Element" and "Brazil". I don't recall the order, and it's not like the same people made all 3 films, but they have a similar 'makes you think while you squirm' vibe. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
