200 acre grass fire near my home

Not worried yet, but I woke up to the smell of smoke & the sound of helicopters. The news says it's 50% contained & has recieved a *huge* response- still, I'm prioritizing: Wife, kids, cats, basses, maybe an amp or two...

Well I hope they eliminate that one and nothing happens to you and your family. California seems like it's been getting brutalized with wild fires lately

If you aren't on a water restriction, it's time to put a sprinkler on the roof.

In some foreign language, California means drought. My backyard has turned to dust from only watering 3 days a week.

time to buy some rocks.

Good luck to you with the fire!!!

I hope your fire ends quickly. If you have to evacuate, don't forget computers and photos.

I live in Pasadena near where the Station Fire has been burning. We've been breathing smoke and ash every day for over a week, and I have quite a few friends and a co-worker who were under mandatory evacuation orders. As of this morning the total is up to nearly 150,000 acres and still less than 50% contained.

Thanks for the concern, guys. They got it under control shortly after my OP. Firefighters are bad A$$.
