Not many people surf on Talkbass. I do, but you don't have to surf to appreciate the craziness of these waves.

Hahaha. On another note, I finally got the OS back up and running. It's an awesome pedal. Used it in a track I'm working on. Still weird with the power supply however.

Yeah, I can see its potential, I just can't realiise it at the mo. I am digging my new OC2 into a Groove Regulator with a Polish Ass in the effects loop combo. That plus the PitchFactor and I am almost "done" as far as effects are concerned. A good thing to. Its an expensive habit!

I sent the link to my buddy, he surfs in that area, though
I'm not sure if it is the town or state beach.

Sent him the link, he was pretty impressed.

Holy crap. That's where I grew up surfing. Brookhurst and Magnolia st. I mostly surf the pier now. Funny. Small world.

That was sick. A couple rides on the Tasmania wave had an elevator drop about midway down. What causes that? Some reef irregularity?

Yep. Pretty much at that point there is an either an exposed rock, or a section of reef that is really shallow. That wave is breaking in about four feet of water.

That video encapsulates one of the few things that makes me regret living in England.

On a related matter - does anyone know what the background music is?

You have some waves that rival those in Scotland. There are guys doing tow-in up there.
