2009 NCAA Football Preseason

So we're a little over a month away from the best time of the year. That's right....... COLLEGE FOOTBALL! So how do you think things will size up for your team, conference, or in the BCS period?

Everyone knows from last season that i'm the token die hard Auburn fan here. After a lot of rebuilding, our new head coach Gene Chizik has put together a very impressive coaching staff. That combined with a lot of great talent here on the Plains has me feeling pretty good about the upcoming season.

With that said, I think we'll definitely give the rest of the SEC west a run which is looking pretty stacked right now with Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss also in the division.

You know what's going to be scary though?

The Florida Gators. I hate to say it but they're going to be scary good.

Yep, we are.

My goal this year is to get to the LSU game, and one home game.

I predict that my alma mater - Washington State - will be picked at the bottom of the PAC-10 even though we won 2 games last year and the dawgz of Washington lost all 12 games last year, and have a new head coach who has never been a head coach before. We get NO respect! But I also predict we will win at least as many games as the huskies. What would really top the season is to beat the dawgs in November and make it 5 victories out of the last 6 Apple Cups.

I don't really care what happens on the East Coast...I'm a PAC-10 and Mountain West guy.

I also predict that a Mountain West team will once again show the BCS for the farce it is.

I'll keep most of my attention on the SEC. But I'll be keeping an eye on the Pac-10 and Big-10.

I can't avoid the Pac-10 living where I do. I am interested to see how Sark does this year. I'm going to go to the LSU game, as an LSU fan. I don't like UW.

How do you guys think Kiffin is going to do? I'm liking all the publicity he is getting us, especially with recruits. Even though he does have a big mouth some times. Florida will rape us for that stuff he said.

For as much trash as he's been talking, let's hope he makes his presence known in the SEC.

Don't feel bad. NOBODY is talking about Auburn. At all. They're predicting us to be next to last in the SEC west next year.

I hope they keep blowing us off. Last time they did that was before the 2004 season. We all know what happened that year.

I know that feeling. Three years in a row WSU was picked 6th or 7th in the conference - went to a bowl game every year. Got so I liked being picked there!
