If you want my opinion, the Camaro is ugly but probably going to be more reliable (although I think this last judgment should be taken with a grain of salt when discussing cars that are likley going to be flogged to within an inch on their life anyway).
I'm not even a Ford guy, but you might want to take a close look at the latest Mustang.

Mike | Funny you mentioned the Mustang. I was never a Ford guy either but the Mustang is a great looking car too. |

Of course rehashing a forty year old design is probably way cheaper than coming up with something original. If I wanted something like that, I'd go out and get an original. The challenger doesn't even look like they tried. I like it, but I prefer the '69 way better.

Their engine specs are very similar, but the Camaro seemed to have a bit more torque and to be quicker in acceleration.
They're both great looking cars, but in terms of comfort and performance, the Camaro edges out the Challenger, IMO. |

What I really wish is that GM would have retro'ed a second generation Camaro- either a 70-73 Rally Sport of a 78-81 Z-28.
I purposely left out the 74-77 big bumper cars. |

I purposely left out the 74-77 big bumper cars. | That was my hope too. They took a beating from customers about the GTO so I think they decided to take the easy way out and copy the first generation Camaro. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
