For those that don't know, here's the way it works:
Every week you select the winner of one game. That's it. You can choose from every game, and choose which team will win. Here's the catch: you can only choose a team once. So, in the first week if you choose the Raiders to beat the Broncos, for the entire season, you can't choose the Raiders to win a game again. If you choose wrong, or forget to make a pick one week, you're out. That's it. Done. For the entire year. That's why it's called Survival Football. Whoever is the last one playing, wins the league. Sounds easy, right? Well, if you haven't played a league before, just know that it rarely lasts past week 10 or 11 in the NFL, that's how hard it is.
And you don't have to choose a team to cover the spread or anything like that, it's just straight up, who will win the game.
Here's the instructions to sign up. If you have any questions, post it to this thread. The league can accommodate up to 50 players, so tell your Talkbass friends. Quote:
Welcome to Yahoo! Sports Survival Football.
You have created the Private Group called Talkbass Survival League and the Pick Set called 'Ikale Tahi in that group. To allow other people to join this group send them the Group ID# (19219) and the Password (dallascowboys). Remember, it is the Group ID#, not the group name, that other people must use to join your group.
You are now ready to participate in Survival Football. Your goal is to predict the winner of one professional football game each week. Win, and you keep picking. Lose, and you're eliminated.
Thanks for joining. Good luck.

You should be able to find it and join with the group ID and password. If that still doesn't work, you can post or PM me your email address and I'll send you the invite from the league, which will give you a direct link, but I'm trying to avoid getting 50 PMs. |

By the way living in Cardinals country and being a Saints fan, it pains me to type in anything Cowboys related.
