And you know what, that guy and his dog may invoke something in someone that the other pictures don't. |

For example, number 42 is either a joyous wedding or a devastating flood, depending on what perspective you take when pondering the significance of the moment. Likewise, number 40 is either a triumph for civil rights, or the downfall of society, depending on your opinion of gay rights. I think I'm going to have to agree that there were too many unpleasant images on that list. There are many unfortunate things happening in the world today, but I believe there are also positive things that the media prefers to hide from us. |

All we ever hear about or see in the media is negative until someone mentions "the troops"... And don't get me wrong, I have family in the military & respect for what they do. I'm just sick of the glorification of war; so sick of it that it really does make me angry.
I have an idea... Let's watch the news one night this week and see how many stories are of shootings, robbings, murders, and attacks & how many are stories of good things and people doing good for one another.
