Either someone up the road was setting off a bunch of fireworks leftover from the 4th of July, or there was some pretty serious shooting going on. Listening to the police scanner but I don't hear sirenes yet. Usually the police respond en mass to these sort of things around here. Sometimes it takes a while for police to show up because we are in the sticks.
