Well caffeine works differently with different ppl. I will say it in my experience it does work like it says. I mean in hardly no time. Also the great thing is you dont crash and burn when it wears off like other caffeinated things.

I'm used to caffeine so that's not a problem.I guess I thought this stuff wasn't supposed to have caffeine in it.

It has other stuff as well, but it does contain an amount of caffeine. I drink coffee on the regular, so I am used to it as well, but this stuff nicely powers you up.

I found that I can have an extra beer or two if I drink a 5 hour energy drink. I don't get a noticable buzz until 5 or 6, rather than 3 or 4. Sure does help with practice after a full day of work.

Sometimes I take one before work if I'm exceptionaly tired. They work pretty well, and the only side effect I noticed is that I feel a little warm. Tastes like crap though.

Just an overdose of vitamins, IIRC. A multivitamin should do the trick.

I was given a box of the Fruit Punch flavor and tried it out. It did a much better job then the energy drinks. Like the commercial says no caffiene crash. I drank half of the bottle then about 4 hours later I drank the rest.

I drank these during the morning and afternoon, not sure if it would keep you up all night if you drank it late night.

I tried it once. It made me really shaky. I stick to Red Bull.

I've tried them before and they work, but they taste like crap. It's a not problem though because the taste can easily be overcome if you chase it down with something else after. IME, there IS a crash after, but it's not as severe as the crash you get from an energy drink.

Not too long a go an old man I work with, around 70 or so, had one of these, and he didn't die of any heart related problems, so I would assume they are safe.

I use them every once in a while. I usually dilute them in a bottle of vitamin water, so there is less of a rush, but it stretches the "energy" out a bit more.

Good stuff. I don't get the jitters and crash like I do with other energy drinks. I drink them on long drives and it helps to keep me alert.

Yeah, it works okay. Keeps me going, doesn't really give "energy." Then again energy drinks are basically just weird tasting soda to me.

You want real energy, just do a line of coke instead.

Am I the only who is not affected by caffeine in energy drinks, coffee, or anything else. I swear, all it does it dehydrate me. Badly.

It also doesn't affect me. I can drink 2 amps before bed and still sleep like a baby. Fortunately it doesn't dehydrate me either

5 hour energy is the ONLY thing that stimulates me. I've had like 8 cups of coffee at the local restaurant my friends and I occasionally commandeer and still sleep fine as well. But the 5 hour energy shots give me just the ability to not pass out.
