So I just got a notification of an earthquake near Jan Mayen Island north of Iceland. As usual, I checked it out on Google Earth. Jan Mayen is in the middle of the ocean, about a million miles from nowhere, but apparently people either live there or go there often enough to have made some dirt roads and put up some of those jaunty road signs that point to all corners of the world.
Anyway, Google Earth has some of those little blue squares around there on which you can click and see a photo of something interesting. Here's the first one I clicked.
