what's the use of this one other than serving as a prosthetic wiener for those lacking size??
Seriously, look at the size of the thing, what possible use can it have?

$16,000 to get your ass handed to you by a gun? It's much in the same class as the T-Rex in my book. I don't believe you really need anything over a .30 cal to take most anything in North America.

I'll take a .45-70 and the leftover $15,500 please.

It wasn't that bad... so I kept shooting it... put about 6 boxes of blammo through it in about an hour...

Exactly. Most Holland & Holland rifle ammo is for African game.

Unbelievable. I used to own a Desert Eagle 45, and that seemed to me like the most powerful handgun on the earth. It's like a 22 next to that thing.

Whoa, that's intense. Still, he suggested a shoulder stock and a bipod? Combined with the tendency to use optical sights on large hunting handguns, it makes me wonder if the people who go for these things are really in denial about the fact that they're not shooting handguns but highly portable miniature rifles. I guess I just don't get handgun hunting.

Taurus makes the Raging Bull, Rugers 454 Casull is the Super Redhawk.

its obviously James Bond's new weapon of choice, pretty soon every secret agent and spy will be wielding one in the breast pocket of their designer suits

Yup...as a friend of mine says, "The WHY question occurs to me".

IMHO rifle rounds belong in rifles. You're not going to get their full performance out of a short barrel, but the shooter will absorb plenty of punishment in the hands.

I want the Snubby version for conceal carry. I live in Detroit!

I've shot a .416 Rigby and a .458 Mag in a rifle and I was good for about three rounds each. I've also shot .375 RDJ (444 necked down to a 375.H & H) in a pistol that was like holding a Brahma bull by the horn. Not a pleasant experience. I can't imagine the kick of this piece if it was shot as a pistol (not on a rest or bipod), But I have a friend who will probably buy one.
