There have been some unsubstanciated reports of abuse and such that led to this, but I dont think we're going to know much more for a while.

It will be quite interesting to see what comes up, and I think his story will probably change a few times, traumatic event like that (whether he did it or not) is going to mess with his head.

This is all just so bizarre.

not about anything serious, but I was about that age when I saw a classmate throwing .45 bullets at the ground as hard as he could. I picked up the shells and rode my bike to the police station. told them where I found them ect.... about 1-1/2 later they called my Mom to pick me up....
Questioning this Kid without a child advocate there is wrong and should be thrown out.
A good friend of mine is a cop in Chicago, his partner was shot & killed less than two feet away from him. It resulted in a somewhat famous case because the shooter was NOT convicted.
It is because of injustice on both side of the ledger that the system is not trusted
this case is tragic, in everyway

maybe that still requires the presence of an advocate. |

St. Johns is a one horse town. I have driven through it and if you blink, you literally miss half the town. Founded by some religious group.
Dunno if the kid is capable of telling the story right now. Tragic whatever the outcome.

Yes it does.
Law official interrogations are not to be taken serious is most cases.
People seem to not realize that the police do like to use deceptive means to get most confessions. |

Watch his entire vid on it. They even have a police interrogator speak in the second half of the vid. http://www.regent.edu/admin/media/schlaw/LawPreview/ | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
