the stuff i would want from Sears is too big for me to conceal so i am not stupid enough to attempt it. it would also be unethical.

What are you wanting to do for them? I went to high school with a guy who started out as a stocker and unboxing inventory when it arrived, and now he practically runs the store in our town.

I doubt this is a career for you, but if you have patience you can climb the ladder at places like this.

i am interviewing for a part time cashier position. i honestly wouldn't be surprised if they tell me it is seasonal work, but i need the extra cash for the next few months anyway so seasonal or not if they say the word i will be ready to start work.

He stole lots of big items. I saw him pulled over not too far from my house, in his pickup truck. They had taken all kinds of things out of his pickup bed, lawnmowers, BBQs, then they went and raided his garage, the one his used to practice his breakdancing/headspins in. He had a LOT of large stolen merch. To hell with the ethics of corporate america!

Right on. Hopefully they don't stick you back in the tool department to deal with grumpy old men all day. Maybe you can get a spot where you can interact with some of the cuties that come in the store.

Ugh... I feel your pain. I'm being forced to get a "real" job as well - I have an interview at the Apple Store in San Francisco on Sunday.

If I get it, it will be my first "real" job since 2003.

Tight yo!!!

We'll soon have a TB hookup for free iPod's and iTouch's. This is like the coolest news I heard all day. I was about to buy a 32GB iTouch, but I'll just wait for you to score me one. Awesome!

Having worked some time in a hardware store, there's a lot of cuties shopping in the tools department. However, they're pretty much all searching for something on behalf of their husband.

And I'll make sure that every TBer gets at least one free iPod, just like how I hooked everybody up with a Mesa/Boogie product a few years back.
