I had a transformer arc and burn up my electric service panel... went about 18 hours with no AC or fans 2 weeks ago. I slept on a beach towel and had a second one wrapped around my pillows!!!

Luckily it was from 7pm to 1pm so a majority of the time was not the hottest part of the day.
