Is it **** for you too? Last few times I have tried to run it, it has just stopped mid-scan. please help a computer noob.

yeah i hate it, the new one sucks.... doesn't want to update itself.

all i use is Nod32 and its awesome, doesn't slow down ur pc and it has found lots of nasties on my pc.

try running it in safe mode. Some spyware runs at startup and can kill scans.....

Spybot and i actually bought AVG internet securities... their adware scanner is pretty damn good.

Ad Aware has gone downhill. If I could, I'd edit it out of the software sticky but, alas the post is too old to edit.

I'll try running it in safe mode, and see if it behaves itself but I hear ya so won't worry if it's still ****!
