Adding Some Letters Onto My Name

Well if any of you remember my thread of job hunting woes, it seems that is finally over. Starting this fall I will begin studying for my doctorate in Environmental Science. In a few years I'll be adding PhD onto the end of my name

Congrats, much nicer being able to stick Dr. to the front too I'd imagine!

I'm about half way through mine.

So your job searching woes are over because you're going to school, or are you saying they will be over once you get your PhD?

Presumably the prior, a PhD is a long shot from job security!
