Advice to large companies wishing to evaluate their standard of customer service

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently renewed my car insurance, and the company I purchased it from have now sent me a FOUR PAGE document asking what I think of their products and services, full of questions like "What was your main reason for choosing our insurance?"

Unfortunately, there is no space provided in this document where I could write something along the lines of "How much cheaper could you make my car insurance if you fired all the worthless idiots in your customer service department whom you pay to produce a puerile four page survey full of inane questions that any sensible person will immediately consign to the rubbish bin?"

Just write it out on a piece of paper and send it along with the survey. Hell, I would!

But that's it in a nutshell. They don't want you to tell them what you really think. Just to fill out their carefully worded questionnaire so they can skew the results to their liking.

You know questions equivalent of Do you find our product works as advertised or would you rather pull your toenails out with a pliers?

Okay, I embellish a bit...but think about it. You are forced to pick the best shining example for them, or compromise with something lesser that is not a true representation of your feelings.

That's why I never fill those things out.

I would hesitate to use the phrase "very good bassist" in any association with my name
