| Advice - Part Time Work Involving Music

A quick background... Up until 2007 I worked for Verizon, a job which I had for about 8 years straight out of high school. In 2006 I got diagnosed with severe Carpal Tunnel and had the surgery which did nothing for me. I already have a disability, Cerebral Palsy, which limits my work to office/computer related jobs for the most part. Well between the years of crutch use putting pressure on my wrists and the high motor skill demands that my work required, it killed me for full time work. So in 2007 I went on SSDI and happily assumed a role of "house husband" where I was constantly engaged in my hobbies and taking care of our house.
Fast forward to last year: I got a divorce, lost my house and my day to day purpose. So now I'm looking for part time work not just to supplement my income, but to do something mentally engaging each day.
This is both good and bad:
The Good: I don't NEED to work from a financial point of view. My SSDI is enough for that, but just barely. So I can be picky in what I choose for a job. Ultimately I want to do something with music, such as working at a music store. I'm not very interested in teaching. I'm a drummer primarily, and I tried that but it just wasn't for me.
The Bad: I can't earn more than $1000 a month in order to keep my benefits, so this may limit the hours I can work depending on the pay. Add to that the limitations I have: I can't lift anything heavy, and since I'm using a crutch, anything requiring two hands is out. Also walking or standing alot is out. I figure that in a music store, this might limit some of my duties, but it shouldn't be an issue.
My problem is that I'm kind of feeling boxed in when it comes to finding a job. Finding one anywhere is hard enough but then trying to narrow it down to something in a musical or other creative field, and adding on my physical and income limitations, makes it harder.
Are there other options I have to look for work that I may be not considering? Of course I'm trying music stores, which most aren't hiring due to the lackluster economy, but I wasn't sure if I'm missing something.
