Aight, Fess up you Jerkwads! Left Lane Drivers!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Everywhere I look about people being pissed with "slow, left lane" drivers, everyone hates them. Well, where are these slow people??? Are they to cowardly to admit they drive in the left lane going under the speed limit?

I'm serious, there are plenty of people who drive in the left lane, pissing everyone off, but how come no one ever comes forward and offers their excuse????

Fess up, because I know that a few of you here are convicts.

And no Maki, you better not leave me the Whaaaa jpeg or i'll shove a spark plug up your exhaust hole.

I drive in the left lane and I do the speed limit, but if I see someone coming up fast I'll usually get out of their way.

On a 55 mph road... most people go 65.

It's amazing that the lights are timed for 55, but everyone wants to catch that next red light before it turns green.

Here's the other left lane problem: It irks me when I'm using the left lane appropriately and some dude comes up behind me and glues himself to my bumper.

I have a bigger problem with people who ride on my bumper. I usually go at least 5-10 over to stay with traffic. I don't understand why many drivers deem it necessary to drive so close.

Because they assume riding your ass will make you go faster!
I like to brake check those guys, they usually get the picture after one or two...

If you are in the left lane and will not move to the right for faster traffic to pass, don't bitch about getting tailgated. I don't tailgate, it's dangerous and stupid, but I clearly understand the frustration.

SLOW DRIVERS STAY RIGHT!

The left lane is for passing, not driving. That simple truth seems to escape most people. In Colorado it's law - you may only legally occupy the left lane while passing another vehicle.

The point is simply to keep traffic moving...so why would anyone want to block the progress of other vehicles? I usually drive 4 MPH above the speed limit on highways, and I don't tailgate. When weather is good and traffic is not heavy, people who drive in the left lane at speeds below the limit should be cited for obstructing traffic.

If someone is speeding and acting like an idiot, that's MORE reason to get out of their way. You're not a cop and it's not your job to slow them down. It may very well get you into a collision or dead. Nothing to gain. Get the hell out of the way.

But what about when we're going the speed limit + some, the tailgaters are still present... theres always someone wanting to go faster!

Roads in commercial districts don't count, but the open road rules are that the left lane is for passing [faster traffic]. People that drive slow in the left lane steam me. If you are in the left lane, and a car is up your butt, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!

It's funny how people that break the speed limit blame other people.

I hope you all get tickets.
