http://news.aol.com/article/snowzill...-banned/285313 I can't put into words how angry I get when I hear of people who go out of their way to restrict what others can do with their property/on their property.
Your thoughts? For the record: I am not a snowman aficionado, nor do I know Mr. Snowzilla personally.

Besides there's already restrictions about what people can do on their propery. Planning permission/restrictions etc. |

If the snowman stays, then traffic problems and car accidents are unavoidable. Getting rid of the thing seems reasonable to me. |

Really, what next? Christmas lights? | Yes, because Walmarts are made out of snow and could easily crush passing cars.
Seriously if this thing fell onto a child then there's gonna be people saying "Why didn't the council do something about this thing!!?". |

Maybe the city council should also ban kids from playing outside completely, lest they get frostbite. Or they could outlaw flagpoles constructed with metal, so that there is no risk of a tongue/flagpole fusion. Even better... forbid drivers from operating their vehicle on a snowy/icy road, because it would reduce the chances of having an accident. |

"It's for the safety of the children" , Children built the damn thing. |

Apparently 94% of the voters (~46.600 me included ) thinks the ban is a stupid idea.
Sure it may be a hazard, sure the town of Snowzillarage has it's tourist attractions in the controlled areas, but to destroy something that kids work on? That's plain mean.
Yes, I had my "treehouse" demolished when I was young and also had a snowman to fall over me, but I survivivived.
Why can't they assign a spot on a public park or something where kids can make their snowman? A park that have enough parking spaces to the millions and millions of people who want to take a pic about something that kids have had fun doing.
I'm pissed off, so I voted, which I don't usually do.
Just my 0.02€
