TO ALL HOUSTONIANS! (practice space question)

Do any Houstonians know of a practice space place in the downtown area that's NOT Francisco's? My band is looking to move.

sorry can't help you with that... my band practices in a recording studio

and i don't know squat about downtown... except where minutemaid park is

Dude, you were at Francisco's? Was it the downtown one or the one off of W Belfort? If it was W Bellfort I may have seen you once or twice.

I was at Francisco's off of W Belfort back when I was in my last band. Dear goodness it was in teh ghetto! Some dude got shot outside one time while I was loading my gear into the building after a gig.

The Rock Center in Bellaire is pretty decent, but it's somewhat of a drive depending on where you live. http://houston.citysearch.com/profil...arsal_std.html

theres one called sterrett street studios, but i dont have the contact info

can't really help you with downtown, but there are some rooms on hwy 3 and fm 528 in the webster clear lake area.

I've never been to Francisco's, but I've heard enough about it that I want to avoid it at all costs.

PM ryanown. He might know some other places. I want to say that he owns some practice space himself somewhere in Houston but I might be wrong.

Wow...where? I live somewhat close to that area and I've never heard of any practice spaces in that area.

i'm assuming it's in the same building as the shops right on the intersection

Hehe... That's actually where I'm at right now. It is a bit far, that's partially why we're moving.
