All right I'll start a thread on it...Wilton Felder's not doin so hot these days

So I keep seeing threads about people being sick and hospitalized, and I've been going back and forth about whether or not to tell you guys...so now I figured I may as well tell you.

Wilton Felder went into the hospital some time back for surgery, and he's since gotten out. He went from towering, inapproachable superman to broken down old man in a manner of days.

He's now confined to a wheelchair sometimes, and a walker at other times. Thoughts, well wishes and prayers go out to him and his family. They've all got a little bit more of a burden to bear nowadays

My prayers are for him. Hope he recovers and becomes that Superman he was.

I thought this was going to be a thread on Fender's QC issues... and that you just had a typo there.

Wow. Wilton recorded some of the most recognizable basslines in history. I had no idea that he was sick. My prayers are with him.

That's odd, I was talking to Stix Hopper a week ago at NAMM and he said Wilton was doing just fine. It's a shame really a great bass player and voice on the Saxophone.

Far from ideal, but I feel he will draw on the strength that is within ; )
