All-time best car chase scene

Last night we watched Bullitt, and the car chase scene got me to thinking, which car-chase scene was the best - Bullitt, The Seven-Ups, or some other movie. Myself, I've always liked the car chase from The Seven-Ups. What do you think?

+1 on The French Connection, there are a few that come to mind, The Bourne Identity chase I thought was not bad as it goes.

Best one I ever saw ended with a dude on the side of the freeway on an overpass. His truck was on fire and, man, I never thought I'd see something like that on the news while I was waiting for Power Rangers to come back on...

Honorable mention: "The Yellow Sea," a very violent, dark as F Korean film. The chase/crash scenes are shot in a way that make you wince w/ pain when they happen. That's good cinematography + sound editing.

There's a pretty good one in *To live & die in LA* but my vote goes to the Blues Brothers.

Blues Brothers wins it for me

The freeway scene in The Matrix: Reloaded comes as a close second though, just down to its sheer awesomeness/wow factor.

I still say being 10 years old and watching a guy blow his head off, live, on Fox Breaking News takes the cake!

*with a shotgun, no less
