Does anybody have experience with Amazon's trade-in program? They're offering to buy back a bunch of my textbooks for pretty good prices, as well as accepting dvds/video games.
However, there's one part I really don't like in the terms.
"Items that are materially damaged or that do not match the items on the trade-in-list are not eligible for return to you, and may be disposed of by the merchant and may not be returned to you."
So it sounds like if my books don't match some exact standard of condition, they won't be returned to me, nor will I be paid for them. Sounds like the buyer could just say they can't accept them, and still keep and sell them.
I figure I'll check with the local bookstores and see what I can get from them and use Amazon as a lost resort. Anybody have experience with this program?
