My new Kindle came in today. I got a great deal from a website called woot.com, which is affiliated with Amazon. It's refurbished, and it was a steal at $95.00. Amazon has thousands of free books to choose from, all public domain so they're mostly older books. So I got myself War of the Worlds, The Wealth of Nations, the Communist Manifesto, even the Bible! I've got my reading cut out for me! Quite the toy!

Also, I am not pleased with the processor. It's pretty slow. Lots of lag that can't keep up with the simple cursor highlighting of 10 titles on the page.

Don't really care about any other features. Since I'm getting ready to move again, it's such a relief knowing that my Kindle has 50 books on it that I *don't* have to haul. |
