Question Are american men being feminized?

Do you think that the art of manliness has been lost? It seems like everything about being a man all the way from boyhood up has changed, from the way we interact with each other to the way we dress and speak. The agenda of schools seems to be to create as little personality gender distinction as possible. I remember in grade school boy's attitude were boys rule and girls, well suck. Was it politically correct? No, but we got wiser as we got older and our attitudes changed. But, it seems now there is such a fuss about gender equality that much of the joy and pride of being a man has been lost.

Your whining is extremely un-manly.

Why is it so important for everyone to conform to your views on what gender roles ought to be?

I think the feminizers have largely taken over public schools, certain aspects of colleges/universities and most of the entertainment media but they can't dominate everything. Non-feminized men just ignore it and create their own things like ultimate fighting, metal, etc. The feminizers rarely create anything - they just take existing institutions over and their impact goes only so far because they're up against nature.

If feminizing is the only way to curb sexism, then I don't think it's such a bad thing.

I think OP is feminized because he's whining about stupid stuff. You can be a man and not be a backwards troglodyte.

I believe this thread is an unveiled attempt to use Beta-carotene as a substitution for carrots in a poll.

I voted beta-carotene

in short, no.

its true that schools are trying to be as politically correct as they can be, but its a load of crap, and theres still plently of burly men comming out of the most "femenized" of schools.

just look at me, i eat a bowl of nails for breakfast every morning..without any milk..

I eat a bowl of mixed screws and nails each morning. With beer instead of milk. And I went to public schools my entire life. I failed to notice any of this 'diabolic feminizing PC influence.' Just seemed like school, to me.

I think OP is whining and complaining over nothing. He should grow a pair.

Only you can feminize yourself.

Mike

EDIT: or allow someone else to do it.

Well, I'm not trying to advocate male dominance, sexism, or anything like that. Maybe feminized was a bad choice of words but it seems to me there has been a change in general of the view of the american male. But I could be wrong that's why it was posed as a question. Didn't mean to sound whiny

Some things about the American male needed to change...don't see that as a problem.

Well, you did. And if there's one thing I can't stand, it's whining, especially from adults.

Yes, there has been a change in the view of the American male. It's no longer acceptable to many people to view the man as the supreme authority in the family. This change is good. Also, it is becoming more socially acceptable for women to be the main breadwinners of their families. This is good as well.
