bc | It was a great fight and Andre was definitely winning that round. Sadly, I think the 2nd punch Fedor threw crumpled him. |

lowsound | this statement makes me wonder if you are talking about the same fight we're talking about (fedor v andre arlovski from this year). Arlovski connected everything he threw in the first minute and a half before they clinched. He staggered Fedor with one of his early punches and Fedor was looking downright amateurish in his strike attempts thanks to Arlovski's quickness. The punch that knocked out andre looked pretty lucky to me and it probably wouldn't have knocked out someone with a better chin. Frankly Fedor was not looking at all like the number one fighter in the world for this fight

bc | I am talking about the same fight. Go watch it in slow motion, Fedor knocks everything aside. Arlovski didn't connect with anything solid there, a few glancing blows at best. Granted, Fedor was taken back by his quickness, but still wasn't getting hit with anything that was going to hurt him.

lowsound | No, it's you who needs to watch it again. About 20 seconds in, Fedor eats a punch from Arlovski, and another right at about 1:10.
Fedor eats two more, one at 2:52 in, and the last coming at about 3 minutes. I'm going to go with the opinions uttered by the paid professional commentators who were there. Fedor had his lands low the whole fight. The only thing he was using to knock aside punches was his dome. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...34240491733723 |
