Will Anonymous Target Facebook on Nov. 5?

It's debatable. You can find the video on youtube of their announcement on it, but it seems that the members of anonymous are torn on the issue... so I suppose we'll see what happens tomorrow..

Personally, I hope they DO kill Facebook... for fun. I don't use it much these days anymore, anyway and it'd be kinda interesting to be affected directly by Anon.

I read an article a couple weeks ago about cyber terrorism which talked about how people are scared of groups like Anonymous or Lulz when those guys don't pose any real threats beyond DDoS attacks.
It went on to discuss the hackers that Russia hired to shut down the Georgian defense systems. They launched a massive cyber attack and while the Georgian officials were trying to figure out what was going on, Russian tanks rolled right across the border.
Then it mentioned that the most advanced active cyber security team is working at Facebook, to the point that they have done consulting work for DoD. Anonymous is not in that league.

I also am not unsympathetic to many of their dealings, although I have no affiliation or skills in that area.
