It appears that the only person who died was the shooter. Good riddance.

My thoughts go out to the injured victims and their families. May they recover quickly.

Just saw this on the news. I don't know what to say... it's almost as if getting angry at the world and shooting people and yourself is the cool thing to do now.

Can we seriously just temp ban people who feel the need to bring a "firearms/2nd amendment/America sucks ::insert country:: is so much more superior to yours" comment when these types of threads pop up? These statements contribute absolutely nothing to the thread and are only there to start flame wars and/or troll.

I'm going to shut my mouth about the 2nd amendment stuff.
But I'm really sick of the trend for school shootings. I think the media does make it seem like there's more violence than what there is, but even so, this is the fourth school shooting in a week.
Why do people have to take out their anger on students? It's sickening.

I am an American and I live in America. I call it as I see it. I am not looking to start a flame war nor am I trolling. It's a senseless tragedy, as senseless as Virginia Tech or Columbine was. And my heart and prayers go out to the victims. Unfortunately these senseless acts will continue unless something is done.

people learn to take out their anger on others. It's a poor strategy for making yourself feel better, but it's something that people do. It's a shame really

The EO Green midlde school shooting was in my town. I nfact it was like a 2 minute walk away from my school (The schools are close to each other)
