Another Crooked Cop

Obviously, the racial thing caught my attention, but I posted this because as I read more, it became clear that cop is apparently just a crook and a bully. In other words, even if you are not a minority person, you should care about crooked cops, because once an officer gets used to being abusive, he will do it to anybody.

Sadly there are "bad apples" in any profession.

It's just when you give them any sort of power it gets magnified. At least he has been caught out.

I had seen this earlier..
What scares me is that for every one crook like this that is caught, there may be 2 or 3 more who are not.

or 99 or 100....who knows?

lock him up, throw away the key.

as a society we simply cannot tolerate this type of behavior. cops should held to the highest possible standards.

it goes back to power over other people. i believe the one disqualifying factor for any government position, much less being a cop, should be that the person wants to job in first place. the surest sign that someone will abuse a government position is that they want the position in the first place....of course, that brings up other points, like, if we do that, where the hell would we get our cops? don't know, but the present system gives us these incidents.....

I find it funny to read this. Was it a revelation? Those of us who grew up poor in poor neighborhoods have always known there are corrupt cops, and didn't need a racial tag to find this out. But there are many more corrupt people than cops, and no matter what race you are, they will take everything they can get from you without remorse. This is a perfect example.

If ever there were a justifiable use for a zero tolerance policy, corruption in the legal/law enforcement system is truly the place it would be.

I'm not you, and have not lived your life. The racial aspect of harrasment and abuse means something to me even if it is irrelevant to you.
