Unhappy Another knifestabbing at children day nursery.

Sign in to disble this ad
The mechanic that works for me just got a phonecall from his sister.

She was about to bring her child in the day nursery (Wilrijk, Antwerp), she saw a father walking out, suddenly another man came running and stabbed the father walking out of the nursery.

The attacker screamed: "now I go in and stab the cildren."

Luckily a police patrol drove through the street and the attacker run away.
They are hunting this bastard down right now.

My mechanics sister is heavily shocked by watching this event. She took her child back home.

This is a copycat of the drama that took place some months ago, when 3 people where killed and many children heavily injured at a daycare center.
It's sickening, twisted psychopats out there.

I hope they catch this bastard.

I'm trembling upon hearing this, since it happens so close to people that I know.

This is sooo screwed up.
I hope they catch the SOB. I'm hoping that he's treated "appropriately" in prison.
How is the dad that got stabbed?

Don't know yet.

I hope he'll be fine. It's a relief that this time no children were hurt.

Don't know if they catched the attacker yet. We're following up on the news here.

Update: the father who was attacked isn't badly hurt.
Appearantly he was not coming out of the daycare (as I said in my OP), he was waiting to get in with his child.
Child was not harmed.

At least now the extra security measures after that drama payed off. That's one positive thing.
The attacker couldn't get in.

They still haven't catched the attacker.

I remember watching in horror and disbelief the news coverage after the events in Dendermonde.

That is seriously messed up. What makes someone decide to stab complete strangers, children no less? And then someone reads about such an atrocity and says to themselves: "That's a good idea. I think I'll do it too."

I would call the perpetrator a POS, but that would be insulting to the S. Manure at least makes good fertilizer.

I'm not blaming the media per se, because this is obviously the work of someone who has some serious issues, but the way things are reported these days - sensationalism, stories which are already bad enough, milked for every bit of shock they can get out of them, it's no wonder that copy cats like this exist. The psychopaths want attention, they want infamy, and "revisiting" a past shocking and revolting crime is an effective way to get it it seems. If this a-hole stabs a few adults, sure it's newsworthy but go and attack kids? Well, the entire world will hear about it in short order.
I'm not saying that the media should NOT report such issues, but I'm saying that the way things are reported these days, this doesnt surprise me..

I agree Bruno.

After Dendermonde they aired a lot of interviews with so called experts and psychiatrists, thinking they could judge these events from an ivory tower, being very clinical about it.

But what are we going to do about it.
They're probably going to milk this story also.

Must going to be a trauma for the victims of Dendermonde.

This guy is messed up. When they arrest him, and I KNOW they will, they should stick him in the mental ward where all the looneybins go. This guy is disgusting.
