Hahaha...I found another typo today. This one on the comcast.net homepage. See if you can find it...

"Arkansas declared a state of emergency as winter weather blankets parts of the sourthern Plains and moves east."

I posted a story here one time about a spellcheck near-nightmare that I had at my job.... I signed a work related email as:
"Retards" then my name as opposed to "Regards" it did NOT go over too well with the client especially since it was an email describing something the client's network guys missed.
It was like I called them "retards" in the email..urgh.
The spell check totally missed it of course.

I posted the email here one time. Let me see if I can go back and find it for posterity sake. It was a classic. People at work still bring it up from time to time.

LMAO ! That is SO embarrassing. I can remember going over an email I sent to an important client with some glaring error like that due to spell check. Yours is funnier though.

I remember that thread,...good times.

RE Mike's post,...does "Plains" need to be capitalized. If "Plains" is capitalized then why not capitalize "sourthern". Perhaps they got that capitalization right but I think consistency looks better,...either "Sourthern Plains" or "sourthern plains".
