Oh man, my brothers and I loved Abbott and Costello when we were kids. It would be great to see some of their movies again.

i'm sure you could order them from online movie sites.

they were good, but i don't think they can hold a candle to the original slapstick comedy geniuses of early movies... yes, of course, i mean THE THREE STOOGES!

the story is, when abbott and costello were still learning their chops, costello would hang out and watch curly from the stooges, and pick up tips on how to do it. he obviously learned well, but curly is still the master.

Not my generation, but I have watched some of their films. As a baseball fan, here's one of my all time favorite sketches!

Not many modern comics can hold a candle to these guys - as comics or as men.

Abbott & Costello were the best. I remember waking up at 8:30 on Sunday morning and watching them on channel 7. You can buy their dvd's online.

I was introduced to Abbott and Costello at a young age, notably through Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, which I loved.

You just don't get humor like that anymore. This thread is inspiring me to rewatch some of their stuff.

I was just going to mention the Abbott & Costello Meet the XXX series - those were a lot of run.

I have a number of their old radio programs on my cell phone - pretty fun lunchtime listening.

I loved Buck Privates, In the Navy, etc. And if you ever get a chance to listen to recordings of their old radio show, be prepared to laugh out loud...
