I'm an archaeologist, don't much care for dinosaurs though.

Paleontologists study dinosaurs. Archaeologists study human remains, from bones and jars to buildings and trash piles.

I'm more of an anthropologist than an archaeologist though.

I was using the term "archeology" colloquially as more likely to be recognized.
