Any boat lovers here?

I'm currently shopping for a little motorboat and was wandering if there are any boat lovers here.

Post a pic if you have them.

This is what I'm looking to buy:

I spend a lot of time in bass boats and airboats. I don't currently own one but will be purchasing a new bass boat in the near future. I enjoy fishing the local bass tournaments.

Well gosh, FL... you really like bass. Both kinds!

I am, but my dad sold ours... One of the first things I'll be buying after college will be a cigarette boat or a 45-60 foot yacht.

I spend a great deal of my free time on boats. Grew up working in boat yards rigging boats and doing repairs. Kayak, canoe, john boat, ski boat, center console, walkaround, sailboat, offshore fishing boats - you name it, I play on it.

I don't own any boats at the moment, but I have something much better - friends with boats.

I stopped loving boats a while ago, too many splinters in a sensitive area.

My neighbor had the same boat, same year same motor but in red and black. He sold it and bought a Triton and honestly, I don't think it's built nearly as well.

I would love to end up with a Ranger but I have a really, REALLY good connection with Nitro It wouldn't make sense to not take advantage of it. It would come with pretty much unlimited, FREE service

I always think about fishing Lake Mead when I fly into Vegas!! That's one HELL of a lake!!! The thing is, the SHOT Show is going to be in Orlando for the next few years so I doubt I'll be heading to Vegas again for a while. I would love to take you up on the offer though!!!!

Yeah, Ranger's are so solid I'd expect to have this the rest of my days even if I had to repower it. They're built a little heavier & consequently a little slower, but mine still gets 67mph with two guys & a full load of gear.

I sailed since I was a little kid. I spent years crewing on racing boats. These days, I wouldn't go sailing if someone gave me a million dollar boat. These days I prefer the smell of gas, noise, speed and no sails to fold and pack.

I work on a boat about 30 hours a week. We run twin 8.1 liter v8's and have a 110 gallon tank. It's a 32 foot Crystal Liner. We have three of them. On average we burn about 50 gallons a day. Granted, these are emergency response vessels, but after seeing how much maintenence, combined with fuel costs, I'm glad my yachting experience is on someone else's dime. I have the hours to pursue a commercial captains license. I might actually do that in a few years.

We could have a TB boat get together! On international waters so we can have some real debauchery...

Emils -

I don't know if you've seen them already, but take a look at Ranger Tugs. Very cool little boats.

edit: D'oh! Didn't realize you were in Croatia. You'd have a much better idea of what's available locally! I think Ranger's dealership network is pretty limited.
