Hey guys the other day I picked up a cigar to celebrate ending my spring semester and have since been very interested in picking up smoking cigars as a hobby if you can call it that. Just wondered if any other guys here are into it and what some of your favorite brands are. |

After a while, I grew tired of always having an old cigar taste in my mouth. I smoke a cigar once or twice a month now, and still have a humidor that I keep 15-25 cigars in. I enjoy it much more like this as it's more of a treat instead of something I feel like I need to do all the time. It's also much less likely to cause health issues for me.

I can't foresee myself being able to afford smoking any decent cigars more than a handful of times a month. what brands do you smoke Eublet? |

I just buy stuff I want to try whenever I'm in a cigar shop, and throw it in the humidor to smoke later. I might not smoke it until a few years after I buy it. A lot of them are the names most would know, such Fuente, Macanudo, CAO, Cohiba, etc. Some of them are lesser known brands or special runs. The CAO cigars are very hot these days, and rightfully so as they're really good, but that makes the prices go up. I like the CAO MX2 and Italia's very much. I buy all kinds of sizes, shapes and styles. Torpedos, piccolos, coronas, dark, mild, maduro, etc. My humidor has a Heartfelt Industries humidification bead system in it. I just add some distilled water to it every 30-45 days to keep them in perfect smoking condition, and I'll pull one out whenever I get a serious urge.

Will smoke one or two a week in the hotter months and one every 2 or 3 weeks in winter...
My favorite brands are Partagas and Bolivar, i prefer a strong smoke.
I usually go for a Partagas D4 or a Bolivar Royal Corona if i want something short or a D1, P2 or Belicoso Fino if i fancy something that lasts longer!
Sometimes if i want something softer ill go with a Montecristo No 2 or a Romeo & Juliete churchill but i usually prefer something stronger...
I do keep a fine selection in my humidor (around 50) and just pick and mix but my usual smokes are Partagas and Bolivar.... |

I tend to prefer the softer end of his spectrum i.e. the Romeo & Juliete or Montecristo #2. But my all time favorite cheaper stick is a Rocky Patel Fusion in the blue band.

I can't decide if I like them though. It's possible my humidor sucks though as I feel like I have to recharge them 2-3 weeks. |

Close the lid on a dollar bill in several spots. It should be snug. If you can easily pull the bill out, there's your problem.

A few years ago there was a TB "cigar club" and the founder had a special blend made for the club that turned out very good. I wish it was still available.

I could never smoke all the cigars I bought from the. I had a bad case of cigar gas for a while. |

If I remember correctly, I purchased 70% beads. |

Those are my favorite rollers, in order (although the 601s have started to give me a headache after I get done smoking them, so I'm not sure what's up).
