Any experienced computer techs or computer knowledgeable people here? HELP!

Right, this is dumb. Right after I got my laptop back from the techs (who took ages), I was putting a CD into the CD drive and somehow it didn't click into the tray, but I didn't know this and somehow the disc is now wedged into the space between CD drive and the casing, rather than in the CD drive where it should be!

It's my Freebass CD and I'm now rather annoyed. So how on earth do I get it out?

My only suggestion is to remove the casing, remove the physical CD drive and then extract the CD which should be underneath it.

The drive may have a small pin hole in the front that you can stick a pin in to open the drive. If you can remove the drive from your laptop I would do that and then open the drive once it's out. Between these two things you should be able to get the CD out.

I have no idea about what you "can" and "can't" do. I have lodged a cd or 2 in my toshiba and I've had to remove the drive and unscrew it with those little jeweler's screwdrivers.
