I dug them back in the day. I wish they would reform and record again.

I'm a big fan. I don't see it happening, though. Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler wrote a book about their time in the Jam that wasn't exactly flattering to Weller, from what I've heard.

My current band would like to cover a lot of their stuff. I'm not a big fan, but I brushed up on a little bit when they began talking about it. Not bad.

Love them, particularly the very early stuff- All Mod Cons & Setting Sons. I remember when they played on Fridays, the west coast stab at SNL.

They won't reform - Weller won't have it.

I wish people would write songs as well structured as the Jam used to.

I saw them in 1977 headlining with Slade second on the bill. The Jam were great but Slade gave absolutely the best performance I have ever seen a band give ever. Noddy Holder turned around a completely hostile audience, that would have had lesser performers running home to their Mummies, within the space of four songs. Pure class, IMO.

Foxton and Buckler have been touring the old Jam songs under the name "From the Jam." They're on a UK tour now, but they were in the States recently.

Yes...big fan. They were touring with a different singer/guitar calling themselves "From The Jam" . The new guy is really good at being Paul Weller! hahaha
