Sign in to disble this ad
I always want to look up song lyrics, but every lyrics site I've found via Google is just a horrible links-farm with pop-ups, malware, and other garbage that I really don't want to have open on my browser. Is there one you can recommend that is just "the goods" without all the predatory web crap? Even if it's limited to one genre, like metal lyrics or rap lyrics, I'd find it useful.
Thx! |

It has the java flash ad over the page till you exit, but no music or video. It's that's acceptable, songmeanings is good. It's almost more community like, instead of text dumps with ads and affiliates everywhere. |

On topic, always been happy with Dark Lyrics.

i thin k the cut-up technique was saying that you are looking for lyrics, so that you could use them for cutting up? *shrug* |

+1. I've been using songmeanings for years now.

...will provide a heads-up for many of the malware infested sites which abound on the 'Net.
On many occasions when I've been redirected to a malicious site after clicking on something on a seemingly kosher page, WOT has stopped a bad site from loading and has thrown up a large warning which includes an offer to see the suspect site's ratings page in order to see what other netizens have reported they found on said site.
WOT can be disabled when it is not needed. |

The problem is the sheer quantity of bogus lyrics sites out there.
Thanks for the suggestions so far! |

| | | | dark lyrics or songmeanings
I like songmeanings because of the discussion for popular songs. Interesting to read how others interpret lyrics. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
