Any guys here take any women's studies courses as an Undergraduate ? As I needed higher level 300 and above in my major everything else was booked up that semester I ended up in a course entitled " Advanced Philosophical Issues in Feminism".

I'd add that if you were taking that course with the hope of scoring tail, then you are SO gonna be bummed!!!!

Nah, I have no need to hear how all men are pigs and how women should rise up and take over. I've actually seen some crazy feminist proclaim that she wished she had an abortion because her son had pornography, and apparently that made him a potential rapist. I'm all for equality, but feminists are freakin nuts.

I don't know. I did ok with the chicks that weren't lesbians. The feminists chicks just like to talk more. Let them talk a little more and then ask them to repeat themselves with their mouths full. Actually some of them really like to be talked dirty too. I used to like to make them say please and thank you's for some of the degrading things I would do to them. Feminist chicks love to get laid just as much as all the other chicks, they just have more bumper stickers on their cars.

I'd have to agree... But only for the real hard-core feminists. There IS an issue of inequality for women, and for them to strive for that, I'm all for it. But when psychobabble like THAT comes out... They are MESSED up!!!!!

I work part time as a biotech specialist (running the HPLC equipment) for the Women's Studies Program at my university. I haven't met any militant feminists in the 1-1/2 years that I worked there. They mostly study menopause, hotflashes and other womens' health related issues. No ant-men posters or anything like that.

I'm a psych major in my final semester and I'm currently taking a psych of women course. We primarily study what would be termed "liberal feminism" (it's radical feminism that is often associated with the crazy stereotypical feminists). A lot of the material is how males and females are socialized differently, women's cognitive development, etc. I'd definitely recommend the course.

It's kind of funny though, because 15 minutes after my psych of women class is over, I'm sitting in a psych seminar studying evolutionary psychologists like David Buss and discussing things like Triver's parental investment theory, which basically states that men are shallow beings only concerned with nailing as many hot women as possible and women are lazy gold-diggers who just want men to take care of them and their offspring.
