I recently bottled my first batch of beer, Brewer's Best Robust Porter. Six days out, I sampled a bottle and it was alright, albeit a shade bitter/overhopped. It should be great in about 2 weeks. I might take another sample in a week to assess things.

Hop flavor always becomes less aggressive with age. Another 2-3 weeks and they be nice and mellow.

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. I was actually somewhat pleased with the current flavor and carbonation. Just gotta wait now (that's the hardest part). Once I unload a case among my friends, I should be able to brew something else. I have an Irish Red, Oktoberfest, Wheat Beer, and one of those boiling kits.
