Edit: typo corrected, sorry!

If you're counting tours with Recording Artists I've got at least a dozen under my belt, One Metal Band with a Record Deal (Joanna Dean on Polygram in the late 80s)and many, many gigs at Jazz Festivals internationally. There's a lot of Working Pros on here who have seen their fair share of catering tables in hockey rinks or theaters, tour buses and the like. Fretlesssurfer (Steve Bailey), BrianBromberg, Hadrien Feraud, jmj, thepontiff, owenbiddle and scores of others have had their share of Big Gigs.
Last weekend it was the Cotton Carnival in Memphis and some High Society Gig in St. Louis wearing a Tux and earplugs and playing Motown and Disco tunes. Hey, you're not on a Big Tour forever and you gotta do what you gotta do.....

| | | | I've seen pix of Jeff Berlin with other artists, but I don't get why he would turn down a chance to be in Van Halen. Maybe he didn't like the kinda music they made. Oh well.

Also record deals doesn't mean fame either, or even mainstay pro for that matter. I'm in Seattle and I know alot of people who's bands got "deals" but never went anywhere, and never made money, but I also know alot of local pros who make a living playing everyday. |

Oh well. | Well if you have ever heard how Eddie speaks about bass players, you would be a SELL OUT to take that gig. Not that I would ever be asked, but I would gladly decline. Money is not the be all to end all.

Also yes, there's quite a few on here as well as techs and "behind the scenes" guys as well. Tim Marks who did some stuff w/ Taylor Swift is here too. Imma fanboi of hers and to know a TB member was the guy laying it down on her most groovin' tracks was/is awesome.
Tully Kennedy with Jason Aldean is around. Honestly lotsa guys, lol whether they admit to it or not!

Oh well. | Jeff Berlin chose his main career path as a teacher. Fortunately, he also tours occassionally and has produced some wonderful CD's.
